Next Meeting Monday 22 June - 11:00am

Hi Members,

On Monday the meeting will be the last for another term. In term 3, starting on Monday 13 July, we'll have two camera clubs. the 11:00am and the 1:00pm sessions. If you wish to continue in the 11:00am session, do nothing. Your name will be rolled over automatically.

If you wish to change over to the 1:00pm session, let me know.
If you no longer wish to come along to the camera club, please let me know. We have at present a few members who have not come to meetings for some time. If you wish to continue membership please let me know to avoid being deleted from the roll.

On Monday, we'll have a look at pictures, members took at our photo shoot at New Farm Park at the last meeting. If you came along and haven't done so, please send me 3 pictures.

The main topic on Monday, presented by Diane, is on

BEING CREATIVE WITH  CLOSE UP AND MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY

Close up Photography is a type of shot, which highly frames an object (or person).

Some Close Up Examples:

Macro Photography is extreme Close-up photography, usually very small objects, in which the size of the subject in the photograph is greater than life size. By some definitions, a macro photo is one in which the size of the subject on the image sensor is life size or greater.

 Some Macro Examples:

Diane will also talk about specialised equipment that can be used for macro photography and settings on cameras.

BRING ALONG YOUR CAMERAS FOR A PRACTICE SESSION OF CLOSE UP AND MACRO SHOTS.

SEE YOU MONDAY
