Today's Final Term 1 Meeting

Hi Members, Once again the meeting was well attended and the poor staff at the library had to drag in more chairs for us, for which we are very grateful. It was the last meeting for term 1. Also a few new people joined us for the first time, we hope to have them back next term starting on Monday 23rd April after the school holidays.

Our first topic, Bird Photography saw some wonderful pictures submitted by members for our 'Show And Tell' slideshow. Unfortunately the pictures of 4 members ended up in Cyber Space and were left out of the slide show, so here they are:

Today's Meeting

Hi Members,

In another well attended meeting, this morning, we looked at the Time-Lapse film, Gabriel Dubler left us a few weeks ago when he came to talk to us.

Then we viewed all the wonderful pictures submitted by our members from our recent Photo Shoot at Mayes Cottage. We have some real talent in our club. Here are a couple of examples:

Next Meeting Monday 12th March 2011 - 11.00 am

Hi members,

Unfortunately the guest speaker we had organised for Monday is not able to come to talk to us, so we had to re-arrange the topics for the meeting.

First, we'll explore the magic of Time-lapse photography by observing a group of young professionals producing magic images.

We show how these fantastic images have been shot with Canon DSLR cameras.

Then we look at the pictures, members sent us of our last outing to Mayes Cottage. There are some stunning photographs for us to enjoy.

And finally, Diane will give us some tips on Bird Photography.

So, see you at the Library on Monday....
